Day 1 Delhi Arrival – Drive to Haridwar

Your Valley of Flowers adventure begins once you arrive in Delhi. Meet our tour representative and board your private vehicle for a scenic drive toward Haridwar, one of the most sacred cities on the banks of the River Ganga.En route, enjoy views of small towns, lush fields, and the Shivalik foothills. A lunch break is arranged at a local restaurant.By late afternoon, check in at your Haridwar hotel and relax for a while.In the evening, proceed to Har-ki-Pauri, the most revered ghat of Haridwar, to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti. Priests chant sacred hymns as hundreds of lamps float gently on the river, creating a magical spiritual ambience.After the ceremony, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 2Haridwar – Devprayag – Rudraprayag – Karnprayag – Joshimath

After breakfast, begin your uphill journey toward the beautiful Himalayan town of Joshimath. Today’s drive is one of the highlights of the tour, tracing the course of the mighty Alaknanda River.Your first halt is Devprayag, the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, where the holy Ganga officially originates.Next, continue toward Rudraprayag, where the Mandakini River meets the Alaknanda. A brief halt allows you to soak in the serene mountain energy.Your final major confluence stop is Karnprayag, where the Alaknanda meets the Pindar River. The route then winds through mountain bends, apple orchards, and scenic villages.Upon reaching Joshimath by early evening, check in to your hotel. If time permits, stroll around the town or enjoy views of the surrounding peaks such as Hathi Parvat. Dinner is served at the hotel.

Day 3 Joshimath – Govindghat – Trek to Ghangaria

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before driving to Govindghat, the starting point of your trek. The drive offers spectacular views of the river and terraced fields carved into the mountains.From Govindghat, either begin your trek on foot or hire mules/porters (optional at extra cost). The trek follows a well-laid path along the roaring Pushpawati River, surrounded by pine forests and waterfalls.Tea stalls and rest points appear frequently, allowing you to refresh and enjoy the landscape. By late afternoon, you reach the quaint village of Ghangaria, located at the confluence of Hemganga and Pushpawati rivers.Check in at the hotel/lodge and unwind. The evening is free for exploring the small market, interacting with trekkers, or simply relaxing.
Dinner and rest follow.

Day 4 Ghangaria – Trek to Hemkund Sahib – Return to Ghangaria

Today is a significant day of the journey as you trek to Sri Hemkund Sahib, one of the most sacred Sikh pilgrimage sites.Start early after breakfast, as the climb is steep and takes 5–6 hours. The trail offers majestic views of snow-clad peaks, glacial streams, and vibrant flowers like the rare Brahma Kamal.Upon reaching Hemkund, visit the Gurudwara, built beside a serene high-altitude lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks. Spend time in prayer, enjoy hot tea and prasad served by volunteers, and take in the peaceful ambience.After spiritual darshan, begin your trek back to Ghangaria. The descent takes around 4 hours. Return to your hotel for dinner and relaxation.

 

Day 5 Ghangaria – Trek to Valley of Flowers – Return to Ghangaria

After breakfast, set out for the most awaited experience of your tour — the Valley of Flowers trek.Walk toward the entry gate and continue along a stone-paved trail that opens into the magnificent valley. Spread over 87 sq. km., the meadows come alive with countless flowers in shades of pink, yellow, blue, and purple.

Some of the common species include:

  • Blue poppy
  • Primulas
  • Himalayan bellflowers
  • Geraniums
  • Brahma Kamal (seasonal)

If lucky, you may also spot wildlife like the Himalayan black bear, musk deer, or colourful Himalayan birds.Explore deeper inside the valley depending on your stamina and time. Enjoy photography, nature walks, and quiet moments in its untouched beauty.By afternoon, begin your return trek to Ghangaria. Dinner is served at the lodge.

Day 6Ghangaria – Trek to Govindghat – Drive to Rudraprayag

After breakfast, begin your descent toward Govindghat, enjoying the views of forests, streams, and rocky cliffs one last time.Upon reaching Govindghat, board your vehicle and proceed toward Rudraprayag, a peaceful riverside town. The drive passes through mountain roads and scenic valleys. Once you arrive, check in at the hotel and relax.The rest of the evening is free to explore local markets or enjoy a leisurely walk along the Mandakini River.

Day 7Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar

After breakfast, begin your drive toĀ Rishikesh, the spiritual and adventure hub of India. Visit iconic attractions such as:

  • Lakshman Jhula
  • Ram Jhula
  • Triveni Ghat
  • Neelkanth Mahadev TempleĀ (time permitting)
  • Local temple complex and riverbank ashrams

Later, continue your drive to Haridwar. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind.

Day 8Haridwar – Drive to Delhi

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for light sightseeing or temple visits in Haridwar. Later, begin your return drive to Delhi.Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.Your Valley of Flowers Trek concludes with wonderful memories and rejuvenating Himalayan experiences.
